Old Business:
- Mid winter retreat: Gillian, Wray and Yvette attended. The training was laid back and enjoyable.
- Selection committe has met. Consists of Kendrew, Gillian and Pat Trudeau. Possible Interviews: Wednesday or Thursday morning or evening
- March 3 chaplaincy service: Theme is ‘Carrying the Message’. Standard format. Service will be prepared by Kendrew, lead by Ben. Message shared by Gillian, Wayne and Kendrew. Wray will do the meditation, opening words by Yvette, closing words by Kurt. Kendrew to circulate service outline next week. Music ideas: Turn turn turn, Seasons in the sun, Blowin in the Wind.
New Business
- Upcoming chaplaincy training: Croning workshop coming up at Unicamp July 6-7
- Proposal to create money policies, cancellation policies. For instance, initial interview should cost 50 dollars. This will be an agenda item for our March Meeting.
- Proposal to create a marketing campaign to promote Neighbourhood chaplains. This will be an agenda item at our April meeting.
- March meeting: present personal funeral outlines
