Congratulations to the Coffee Committee Fans at the Pledge Dinner who rhymed off 5 of the “6 Ns” in rapid succession!
FYI, the 6th N is “Nothing but reusable mugs, glasses, plates, cutlery and tablecloths to avoid unnecessary waste”.
Thanks to co-ordinators of events at Neighbourhood for making the choices to avoid making garbage from single use plastic cups, dishes, cutlery, tablecloths and take-out containers.
The 6th N is especially important because – to control costs – Neighbourhood and Kew Park Montessori School (KPMS) garbage is limited to one City of Toronto Large Gray Garbage Bin.
Custodian Dave does his best to divert Neighbourhood and KPMS waste to green compost or blue recycling bins. Thank him whenever you get the chance!
